Yep racka was I heard drear things about to movie so I took my 9 year old son to see it after 1:30 min we walked out it was just that boring.

I thought the movie was pretty good and like the direction it appears to be heading in. However it could have been a bit deeper in showing what transpired over time and showed more of a world view of the entire planet as they keep leaving out Africa where humans and apes both came from. Since black folks have greater gene diversity what did the virus do to them as in the world genetics favor the survival of the fittest and this should be shown truthfully in the movies if they are to make it truly follow the ways of nature. Then there is the healing of the earth after human activity grinds to a halt that is never explored. I am sure the oxygen levels start to rise without humans messing things up as they seem to always do as we've proven to be bad caretakers of the planet, well, one group of us truly has anyway. I know these are some complex topics but they opened this can of worms so might as well do it right, yes? All in all I like the movie and can't wait to see where they go next.

All this talk of Age of Apocalypse but no talk of a Legion Quest build-up?

This movie was everything I wanted it to be! As a longtime planet of the apes fan, there was so much to appreciate and I loved all the call backs and foreshadowing for what’s to come. I haven’t felt this much excitement walking out of a theater since Endgame!

I doubt Bloodties or AoA are on the table... I think season 2 is going to pull more for the Decimation storyline, replacing Genosha with MDay and combining Mr.M and Apocalypse.

"Bloodties" is essentially about Exodus, Quicksilver (and his family), and Fabian Cortez. But none of these characters are currently in the show. Even though "Bloodties" follows "Fatal Attraction" in the timeline, there's no direct cause-and-effect relationship between them. It's like they're just happening one after the other by coincidence. Without characters like Exodus, Quicksilver, Crystal, and the Acolytes, the whole "Bloodties" story feels kinda pointless and irrelevant.

I don't know if AoA will happen. I was lucky enough to meet the Liefelds a few years ago. They told me that the One Man's Worth episodes were already finished and waiting to air. Scott Lobdell saw it, liked it, and asked them if he could use their ideas to create Age of Apocalypse. A lot of the characters in the episode are carbon copies of what's in the books. Strangely enough, those episodes waited so long to air they didnt reach audiences until after AoA was already on shelves. Seeing that it's already been done, I don't know if they will want to do a retread. But if they do I will probably love it and be really happy to see an animated Legion.

In my opinion this was the best planet of the apes movie ever I never really liked any of the other movies but this one was great in my opinion

It's a shame Tim Burton's Planet of the Apes never got a follow up especially with that ending

I'm really excited to see the Season 1 finale, I do love that this is leading up to X-Men vs. Avengers with the easter eggs of other Marvel heroes being involved in the X-Men storyline and now I totally see that the moments of Wolverine & Deadpool might be connected to the season's finale. I do would love to see Rogue be the one to take away Magento's powers after she reconciles with her own feelings and becomes a good guy to help Xavier and the X-Men defeat Magento. I'm really liking these theories, plus Gambit becoming Death for Apocalypse might also be a good storyline for the series with the X-Men especially for Rogue to face their former friend.

I read they gave taika more control over l&t, maybe he's just got too over confident with his humour style. But reason I believe it was mehh... is because he tried running an over the top nonesence humour storyline along with a soul crushing slow cancer death story. Both making light of a horrible condition and having a depressive overtone to all the silliness.
